I am interested in the available Retail Assistant role as I have worked in customer service for the last decade and really enjoy being a part of an efficient and passionate team.
I love working with people, and have enjoyed being a part of the team at one of the top cultural art institutions in Auckland, New Zealand, known as one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world. I am a precise and professional worker, and very easy to get along with. I have worked in the customer service industry all my life, so always strive to make everyone feel comfortable and as they are being treated to a wonderful experience just for them.
I have retail experience from my time working in the art gallery boutique where we sold many designer items from local artist’s home ware, art items and fashion to jewelry and smaller products. There was a large selection of higher price point items and the usual cultural centre postcard and tourism items as well, especially focused on local products and reproductions from the collection held by the gallery.
I enjoy working on the shop floor to interact and connect with people in my typical friendly kiwi way. I am a proactive leader and not afraid to do a bit of heavy lifting to get the job done.
Thank you for your consideration,
