Oct 2015-Dec 2015:               Literacy Mentor for SUAS

Terence MacSwiney Community College, Hollyhill, Cork

Assisted students in Terence MacSwiney Community College with difficulties. Acted as the leader/co-ordinator of literacy support group. Informed Suas Educational Development of any issues that arose during the programme.

 

ACTIVITIES

§  Keen interest in all sports, but mainly Taekwondo, football and running. Member of the Ballyphehane Junior B Gaelic football team.

§  Captained the men’s CIT Taekwondo club for 3 years (2012-2015). Represented UCC & CIT at inter-varsity events in Ireland and England. Involved with the club’s management.

§  Organised yearly a budget, expenses, competition trips, training, and hosted events.

§  Coached CIT Taekwondo students in stretching, sparring, first aid, theory, and patterns.

§  Sports coaching certificates in – FAI Kick Start, GAA Coaching Foundation, Disability Inclusion Training, and Sports First Aid.

§  Ongoing work with Cork Sports Partnership at health checks and sports events.

§  I enjoy music and travelling around Europe.
