I am currently a Manager with Claire’s Accessories, Mahon Point Shopping Centre.  This is the top Claire’s accessories store in Ireland with a multi-million euro turnover, I am also the Store Manager Trainer for Claire’s Accessories in Munster. Although I really enjoy this position, it is only maternity leave cover and a return date for the previous manager hasn’t been confirmed. In 2014/2015 I completed a medical secretary diploma with Pitman Training in Monavalley, Tralee. Included in this was 3 months of fantastic work experience in the MRI section of the Bon Secours Hospital Tralee and this was an extremely challenging and fast paced environment. I really enjoy working and dealing with people and this allowed me to deal with people through email, phone and at the reception desk.

Branch Manager/Store manager trainer at Claire's Accessories

Along with my role as manager with Claire’s Accessories in Mahon, I am now also the SMT for Munster. This involves the training and induction of all new store managers/assistant managers that join the company. They usually come to the store in Mahon where they would be for 2 weeks before starting in their own stores. This also involves constant coaching after original training has finished. I would travel to other stores to monitor the progress of new managers and to deal with any issues they may have.

Medical Secretary at Alliance Medical

During my work experience in the MRI department I was at the main reception of the MRI department. Confidentiality and diplomacy was a very important factor in this position. This included checking in patients, processing health insurance, dealing with other hospitals regarding bloods etc, audio transcription and all general office duties.
