Work Experience
September 2017 – Current: University College Cork, Student IT Support.
Helping students with any IT problems they face in person, on the phone or via email. As
well as ensuring all UCC computers and printers are operational.

March 2018– September 2018: National Cancer Registry of Ireland, Project Officer.
Work on various projects the IT department were developing in compliance with GDPR.

January 2017– September 2017: UCC Conferencing Department, IT Support & Team
Leader.
Helping delegates with directions and any queries they have as well as IT and AV support
for all workshops and keynote talks. Went on to managing IT Teams to ensure all issues
were dealt with and all IT team members were trained.

September 2016 – May 2017: Áras na Mac Léinn, Student Employee.
Worked in various positions around UCC campus and UCC student centre i.e. cashier in
shops and café, Student help at the helpdesk and food preparation for the café.

November 2015 – February 2016: Visual Studio Assistant, Debenhams Mahon Point.
In charge of ensuring the store’s displays were up to company standard for the weekend,
also assisted with display changes, dressing mannequins and preparing items for future
displays.

Skill Set
Public Speaking
Experience in public speaking with audiences of up to 100 people, being a tour guide for
first year UCC students and occasionally performing stand up.

IT
Experience with computer repairs, both hardware and software.
Experienced with all Office 365 applications and multiple coding languages.

Bookkeeping
Experience in booking from being the Finance officer for DAA and doing accounting for
the Leaving Certificate.

Event Organising
Organising academic and entertaining events for multiple societies as well as handling
online promotion through social media.

Customer Service
Multiple years of experience in working with customers providing IT support, providing
answers to queries or assisting with shopping experiences.

Other Work Experience
WebWorkHouse, IT Assistant – 2 Weeks Work Experience 2015
Assisted customers with IT related issues while building and maintaining
gaming computers. Learned how to build computers, troubleshoot them
and practiced customer care.

Supervalu Tramore, Floor Assistant – 1 Week Work Experience 2011
Restock shelfs, remove any out of date or broken items and assist
customers with their shopping experience.
