Brian Lyons

I’m an ambitious and enthusiastic fourth year student of Bachelor of Business accounting (honours) at Cork Institute of Technology. Recognised as a strong leader, hardworking and dedicated and gets the job done to high standards. Demonstration in academic excellence and was successfully awarded first place in the PwC sponsored prize and achieving a first-class honours degree. Currently seeking work to enhance my experience.

IT – Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Aura. Obtained European Drivers Licence (ECDL)

·        Communication – Strong people skills from experience as captain of my local football team. Emotionally mature, positive temperament, willing and flexible, eager and strong diligence.

·        Teamwork – I have developed through experience and college willing to learn and work with others in developing further.

·        Gaelic Football: Played full back for Nemo Rangers since the age of 11, still playing competitively with both Nemo and CIT. Previously won the Cork Minor & Under 21 Football Championship. Played inter-county football with Cork at Under 14 and Under 15.

·        Soccer: Played centre back with Tramore Athletic and with Douglas Community School. Previously won the Under 17 Cork Schools Cup and was voted Player of the Year for my club in 2014.

·        Other interest:  Enjoy going out for a run, going to the gym. Enjoy reading specifically crime novels.

·        Have obtained Safe food for life Certificate in food hygiene
