I have worked as a kitchen porter and I am currently still employed. I have much experience preparing food and serving food which included serving customers. I have experience in stock management i.e. checking in and putting away deliveries. I worked as part of a busy kitchen environment which required me to be a good team player and to be communicative.

Limerick racecourse, Tipperary Racecourse June 2015
Mallow Racecourse January 2018I have also worked in Limerick & Tipperary racecourses for the last 3 years and recently also started working at Mallow racecourse. This mostly comprises cooking carvery food and sometimes serving customers. I also have bar experience particularly during busy days such as student race days, collecting glasses, serving drinks and handling money.

Woodlands leisure centre September 2015 I conducted work experience with a leisure centre for 2 weeks in 5th year. This involved stock management, answering phone calls, cleaning and daily maintenance.

Achievements:

Played for various underage Limerick county teams from under 14’s to 17’s
Captain of UCC fresher B hurling team
Part of management team that guided UCC to All Ireland fresher B hurling championship and subsequently won it. This required a lot of punctuality, team leadership and excellent communication skills.
