Hello, my name is Aaron Kelleher; I am an I.T, music and fitness enthusiast. I have good interpersonal skills and have strong experience with working in a team and with customers. I currently study computer systems at Cork Institute of Technology. D.O.B is 8/10/98.

Work Experience

Penneys Wilton

From June to August 2018 I worked in Penneys wilton. I was flexi time and worked on both tills and in a department. I dealt with customers in a fast paced environment. In my department I was responsible with replenishing low stock, making sure the rails were tidy and that any customer’s enquiries were met with a satisfactory answer

Dunnes Stores Merchants Quay

I was under a Christmas contract with Dunnes Stores Merchants Quay where I worked from the end of November up to Christmas Eve. I was on tills where I regularly dealt with customers directly, the main floor assisting customers and tidying clothes and also out in the goods inward where I was operating both plastic and cardboard baling machines.

Abtran LTD. IDA Curraheen
For my 5th Year LCVP work experience I chose to go to Abtran which specialises in customer service services and data storage. While there I worked as a part of a team where we completed the following tasks relocating large files, email management, firewall servicing and many more. I also assisted in the setting up of new PCs and monitors in the Holly Hill facility on my final day.

Computer Hospital Douglas

My responsibility and work I have done in The Computer was re-installing windows onto newly repaired computers, fix laptop screens, scan for bad sectors on hard drives and many more.

Additional/Misc. work
For 3 months (Sept . to Nov. of 2014) I babysat for my cousin which involved minding a young child at the age of 5yrs old.

During the summer of 2014 I assisted my uncle in gardening work for houses such as hedge management, grass cutting and disposing of natural waste like trimmings.

During Transition Year a fellow student and I volunteered to help out at COPE in Togher. We assisted the workers in keeping the place running smoothly and getting it ready for the Christmas plays which were being held that week.

I also worked at a service station for a number of months doing misc work in and outside the shop. I also served tea, coffee and pre-packed sandwiches and also cleaned the deli area often. I interacted with customers quite often with helping them with directions, location of certain fuels etc.

Training & Education
I have completed my Junior Cert and Leaving Certificate in Coláiste Chríost Rí. I have completed ECDL also and was trained in manual handling from my time at Dunnes Stores.
