Why this job matters
The Warehouse Operative ensures that warehousing and handling operations are in line with the Group’s warehouse facility standards, objectives, principles, and maintains the supply chain integrity of distribution operations. This role will require a full, valid driving license. Please note: there will an on-call element required for this role.
What you’ll be doing
1. Follows and monitors safety, health, environment, quality regulations and best practices of warehousing and related operations.
2. Records inventory accurately by implementing cycle count, pick count, empty bin count, and related monitoring.
3. Maintains the security of all goods contained within the site and assists the necessary stock checks to comply with audit guidelines.
4. Collects, packs, labels, receives, replenishes, sorts returns, collates, issues and dispatches material using any appropriate equipment (e.g. wrapping / labelling / cutting machines).
5. Ensures the dispatch of materials at right time and right quantity.
6. Loads and unloads vehicles and / or containers of any sort.
