The Role

The Kilkenny Design is a dynamic and progressive Irish family-owned omnichannel retailer and hospitality business is seeking passionate and people focused store person to join our team based Cork.

The role of the store person is to manage and take responsibility for the movement of stock in and out of Kilkenny Design. The store person will report to the Retail Managers.

Key responsibilities of the store person is to manage both inward and outward stock management whilst maintain accuracy and integrity of the store’s inventory records under your direction including all associated documentation and record keeping for accounting purpose.

Full training and an induction programme will be provided. Experience in a similar role is an advantage.

· Manage all stock movements from suppliers and that are transferred between the stores.

· Follow through with any discrepancies that arise with stock.

· Receipt stock and keep accurate records for all inwards and outwards inventory movements.

· Process claims where required on faulty goods, late deliveries and short deliveries.

· Investigate claims where required on faulty goods, late deliveries and short deliveries.

· Help get stock to the sale floor.

· Work with your manager to ensure all paperwork associated with credits are completed and recorded accurately.

· Ensuring the stockroom is kept clear and accessible at all times

· Ensuring that health and safety regulations are adhered to.

· Managing sku accuracy that all stock barcoded match correctly to the system.

· Barcoding of stock items when required.
