Stores Assistant, Oriel House Hotel, Ballincollig, Cork

Oriel House Hotel, part of the Talbot Collection are recruiting for an experienced and reliable Stores Assistant to join our exceptional team.

The Food and Beverage Stores Assistant has a responsibility to assist the Head Chef and the Food and Beverage Manager by checking in of all deliveries to include beverages, foods, etc ensuring they are accurate and distributed to the relevant departments.

Role Specific Duties:

• Assist and checking in of all deliveries to include beverages, foods, etc ensuring they are accurate and distributed to the relevant departments.
• Cleaning and upkeep of the all storage areas and loading bay areas in line with health & safety requirements.
• Assist with other duties related to the back of house area and the waste management and recycling for the hotel.
• Assist with the cleaning and upkeep of the hotel grounds, including courtyard, car parks.
• Assist departmental managers with stock takes.
• Carry out any other tasks assigned to you.
• Working on your own initiative is a must. Relevant experience in a similar role would be an advantage, however, training will be given.
