Social Care Worker, Kare Plus South Cork, €18 ph

Kare Plus are now recruiting Social Care Worker for part time or full time work within South Cork/Cork City.

Applicant must have minimum Level 7 in SOCIAL CARE WORK , APPLIED SOCIAL STUDIES, YOUTH AND COMMUNITY WORK or similar disciplines.

Applicants with a full license and own car are desirable.

Applicants MUST have experience, and be willing to work days, nights and 24hr shifts.

Duties (to include but not limited to);

• Ensure patient/resident confidentiality at all times.
• Assist the resident in all activities of daily living.
• Assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of social work programmes for residents according to professional standards.
• Manage patient care to ensure the highest professional standards using person centred care.
• Lease with the resident, other staff and family members to provide best care.
• Participate in the multi-disciplinary/healthcare team and work as part of a team
• Maintain records of assessments, interventions carried out and communications relating to residents.

Required Education Skills and Qualifications;

• Level 7 or 8 Social Care Degree or similar discipline.
• Flexible and adaptable nature.
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Previous work experience in the industry essential.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Own car and clean driving license a benefit.

Experience:

• Social work: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• CORU registration (preferred)
• NQSW (preferred)
