Restaurant Manager, SoHo Bar and Restaurant, Cork

Soho Bar & Restaurant is currently recruiting for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our management team. This role will oversee day to day operations as well as a playing a key role in the strategic direction of the business.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • At least 2 years experience as a restaurant manager
  • An out-going personality with a passion for providing utmost customer satisfaction
  • Great front of house skills.
  • Be a natural inspiring leader with proven track record
  • A good understanding of business operations.

  • Be totally reliable with absolute integrity
  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

The role will involve, and is not limited to, the below key responsibilities:

  • Lead & Manage the Restaurant team
  • Recruitment, induction and continuous training & development of the team
  • Oversight of restaurant & event bookings for Soho complex
  • Roster and control of wages for the department
  • Oversight of cleaning, ordering, customer engagement, cash handling, SOP management & development
  • Menu preparation with General Manager & Head Chef
  • Preparing reports for weekly management meeting
  • Working with other HOD’s to develop and grow the business
  • Manage agreed KPI’s for the department
