Position: Restaurant Manager (Full-Time Permanent)

Location: Greenes Restaurant, Cork City
Greenes Restaurant have a superb opportunity for a Restaurant Manager to lead our award winning team!

Her talented team works in tandem with the best of Cork’s food producers and in other parts of Ireland to create a menu that’s devoted to local, seasonal, foraged and organic ingredients.

Expect signature dishes of a seasonal nature, refined food with a simple food philosophy – local, fresh and staying true to each ingredient’s essence.

Traditional food practices, such as pickling and fermenting, together with innovative techniques, as well as quality, sustainable meat and fish, and locally sourced organic vegetables and herbs, have transformed Greenes into the destination restaurant that it is today. Greenes is located in a former bonded warehouse in Cork’s historic Victorian Quarter in the centre of the city.


The Role

Working as part of the Hotel Issacs management team, you will be responsible for the management of the restaurant, you will be required to ensure that the restaurant delivers a consistently high standard of guest service while building and maintaining excellent guest relationships.
Our restaurant is renowned for its award winning food and team, we are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic individual who engages well with all guests and who will lead, management and develop the team.


Duties will include:

  • Responsible for the smooth operations of the Restaurant on a daily basis.
  • Ensuring the team are trained to provideexceptionallevels of service for every guest
  • Rostering of staff in a an efficient manner in line with budgets and business needs
  • Training team members and implementing SOPs.
  • Ensuring that the beverage offer is of high standard and stocks aremanaged
  • Promote the brand in the local community and restaurant event


The ideal candidate will:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Previously held a departmental food and beverage management role
  • Excellent knowledge of wine an advantage.
  • Ability to drive excellent customer care
  • Knowledge and experience of rosters and budgets
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
