Production Operator, PPL Biomechanics, Cork

PPL Biomechanics is an SME which has been manufacturing Custom Orthotic Devices since 1993. We are the leading supplier of foot orthoses, specialised footwear and other biomechanical devices in Ireland, selling to Medical Practitioners in Private Clinics, Private Hospitals, HSE Hospitals and Community Care Centers.

PPL Biomechanics is an Irish company based in Cork, employing a team of more than twenty people in our factory, offices and warehouse. We promote a positive workplace environment and boast a low staff turnover.

We are now seeking to recruit a full-time Production Operator within our Operations Team. Full training will be provided with a view to permanency. The successful candidate will receive extensive training and will have a financial review after 6 months.

Requirements:

• Good manual dexterity
• A technical aptitude and good hand to eye co-ordination
• Good attention to detail
• Organizational skills
• Positive attitude to work
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Work as part of a team to meet production targets

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working in a factory setting
• Computer literacy
• Good customer communication skills, both verbal and written
• Basic Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Teams and Sharepoint) skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From €24,000.00 per year
