Multitask Attendant, Respond Housing Association, Blackpool, Cork, €13.15 ph

Location: Respond Day Care Centre, Blackpool, Cork

Responsible to: Centre Manager

Hourly Rate: €13.15

Terms: Casual/Relief

Job Purpose: To provide personal care services to promote the social wellbeing of older clients within St. Francis Day Centre.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

• Developing a positive caring relationship with all clients
• Promote personal care services including provision of meals
• Escorting and assisting clients within the centre
• Assist with the day to day running of the centre
• Assist with and maintain hygiene standards of the centre
• Any other duties as required

Person Specification:

• Previous experience of working with older persons or persons with disabilities
• Good communications and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate a genuine interest in people
• Team player and flexibility in their attitude to work
• Show an aptitude and empathy in relating with older persons
• Manual handling course completed

Garda Vetting will be required as part of the recruitment process
