Home Care Assistant: Bandon/Kinsale/Cork City, Home and Away Care, €25 ph

Bandon/Kinsale/Cork City and surrounding areas: €20- €25 includes travel payment

We require Healthcare Assistants to provide home support for persons of all ages and with varied medical conditions including Dementia, Parkinsons Disease, Stroke, Frailty etc. The care needs include personal care, assistance with medication and mobility, use of hoists, assistance with light house hold activities and meal preparation and companionship.

The ideal candidates:

• Qualified QQI level 5 Healthcare Assistants or equivalent.
• MAPA trained
• Reliable, Flexible, Compassionate, Trustworthy, Friendly and Interested in helping people of all ages.
• Driver with a car and a full clean license

Home & Away Care is managed by a Medical and Nursing team. We focus on the Health and Safety of our Healthcare Assistants and of our Clients. We aim to give you the hours you need to fit in with the other demands in your busy life. Given the nature of Homecare some flexibility around your availability is necessary.

Experience:

• Healthcare/Intellectual disability: 2 years (required)

Language:

• Fluent in English (required)

Licence/Certification:

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent (required)
• Work permit to Work in Homecare in Ireland (required)
• Irish Driving Licence and Car (required)
