To Join our Team at Fikados Healthcare Services as a Care worker, it is essential that you have a genuine care for others, good communication skills, and the ability to understand what the role entails and to follow instructions. You must have atleast a QQI Level 5 to be accepted for this Job. Those currently in the process of completing their QQI level 5 can also apply.

Your responsibilities as a Healthcare Assistant include

• Assist with client needs and perform the day-to-day activities of caregiving based on approved tasks.
• Provide care based on company policies and tasks outlined in the patient’s individualized care plan.
• Preparing of meals, assisting with groceries, shopping, assisting with Personal care, running errands, and performing light housekeeping.
• Assist the client with Activities of daily Living, paying due care and attention to all aspects of care duties carried out on behalf of the client.
• Provide a high standard of care in compliance with Fikados Healthcare Services Policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of QQI Level5
• Must have the right to work in Ireland
• At least 18 years of age
• Must have other supporting Healthcare certificates
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to read, write, understand, carry out directions, keep simple medical records and function with minimal supervision

Salary: €12.50-€18.11 per hour

Experience:

• Healthcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare (preferred)
• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (preferred)
