General Foreperson, Hays Recruitment, Cork

Hays Recruitment are hiring a General Foreperson to join our client in a full-time permanent civil role in Crosshaven. This company has over 60 years of construction experience with a firm grasp of the industry and an established culture and a solid retention of staff.

Your new role

The successful candidate will be managing subcontractors and labourers in the development of roads within this area and will be supervising on site. They will be scheduling work and ensuring completion in a timely manner. Ensuring all required materials are on site. Managing plant equipment and machinery. They will conduct tool box meetings, the keeping of site diaries and ensure paperwork is kept up to date while maintaining site safety.

What you’ll need to succeed

• 5 years experience as a Foreman.
• Civil background.
• Strong Drainage Experience.
• Strong safety ethics.
• Forward-thinking mentality
• Punctuality and dependability are essential.
