To continue operating at our high standards, we are seeking a ‘Dangerous Goods Services Packer/Advisor’.

 

The Role

With personnel based in a variety of locations, our professionals work with clients to ensure compliance and safety in the area of Dangerous Goods Transportation. Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the ‘Dangerous Goods Services’ we provide to our client’s nationwide requests from our clients and providing the most efficient solutions to prepare the goods/materials for onward shipping through packing/marking and labelling the goods, issuing the relevant paperwork prior to departure.

 

Following ‘extensive training’ that we provide in full; the ‘Dangerous Goods Service Support Team Member’ will be a vital resource to our clients.

 

Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to:

  • Point of contact for advising clients in the specialist area of packaging requirements and solutions.
  • Provide mobile (onsite) and remote support and guidance on national, international regulatory and logistics compliance.
  • Manage multiple clients, varied requests and priorities based on lead time and urgency.
  • Packing/marking and labelling ‘Dangerous Goods’ and issuing paperwork both onsite at one of our clients warehouse and remotely from our HQ.

 

Requirements:

  • 1 + years’ experience in logistics, operations, dangerous goods, or hazardous materials experience a plus.
  • Experience working directly with clients required.
  • Excellent team player with solid communication skills and a can-do attitude.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, fluent English required and additional languages an advantage.
  • Full driving license.
  • Fork truck license.
