Corrugated Machine Operative, Un1f1ed Global Packaging, Cork

Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following –

· Responsible for applying previous knowledge of various different Corrugated styles, tests, and manufacturing processes throughout the day.

· Operating corrugated machinery from set up and operation to trouble shooting and problem solving.

· Understand the machinery, its capabilities, running requirements and optimal output capacity.

· Will work on various machines including but not limited to; Printer Slotter, Gluer, Stitcher, Slitter, Shrink Wrapper, Baler, Auto Die Cutter etc.

· Ensuring daily production targets are met according to company standards.

· Liaising with other departments to ensure production schedules are met.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:

• 1-2 years of previous experience in working on Corrugated Machinery along with ability to set up machines (essential)

• Machine Operation and Troubleshooting

• Exposure to Quality procedures/ SOP’s (advantageous but not essential)

• Excellent communication skills,

• Strong attention to detail

• Organisational skills

• Ability to work on own initiative

• Good team player and understand the specific attention to Health and Safety

IMPORTANT NOTE: This role of Corrugated Machine Operator is 39 hours per week, 5 days Monday to Thursday – 7am to 3pm and 7am to 2pm Friday
