Full Time – Roastery Team Member

Based at our coffee roastery, we’re looking for a hard working, detail focused person, with great communications skills to work full time within our logistics and customer service department.

Our ideal candidate is someone who can stay cool and collected under pressure, is naturally confident, savvy with IT and thrives on being able to juggle a number of tasks across the day.

Logistics – What you will be doing

You will be helping prepare and process orders, labelling bags and packing coffee in a busy roastery setting.

You will be receiving deliveries from suppliers, checking in stock into our warehouse, booking on shipments with couriers and working closely with the roastery & sales teams, ensuring that orders are processed and shipped on time.

Customer Service – What you will be doing

You will be answering the phone, offering advice on domestic products, generating quotes and invoices, helping to provide solutions for common issues that arise and communicating information to the rest of the team regarding orders and service.

You will also be monitoring our customer email service, helping customers make equipment decisions, advising on coffee choices and carry out returns.

Essential:

Full Clean Drivers Licence

Strong IT skills (General software & PC/Mac use)

Excellent Microsoft Office / Google Workspace skills

Natural multi-tasker and self starter

Calm and collected under pressure

Able to use initiative and sound judgement

Strong attention to detail.

Good work ethic.

Ability to work as part of a busy team.

Sense of humour a massive bonus.

Excellent telephone manner

Happy working as part of a small team in a busy office

Desirable:

Knowledge of Shopify and/or other retail platforms

An interest in speciality coffee.

Previous experience working in a logistics role.

Strong IT skills.

Working times / hours: Mon-Fri: 8.00-4.00
