Cleaner, MMD Construction, Cork

MMD Construction are seeking to recruit a cleaner to join their team. The purpose of this role is to undertake the daily cleaning in line with Health & Safety Standards.

Hours of work: 2pm-7pm

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Undertake general cleaning of the facility, including offices, canteens, gym, floors, corridors, stairwells, elevator and toilets.
• Vacuuming, dusting and washing floors and walls.
• Sweeping, floor polishing and waste disposal.
• Disinfect and deep clean the gym and changing rooms.
• Ensuring the toilet facilities are kept clean and supplies are replenished when required.

• Inform management of stock required for replenishing purposes.

Skills & Competencies:

• The employee should possess a good level of English both verbal and written, a knowledge and willingness to apply safe working practices.
• Able to work autonomously but also to the able to work as part of a team.
• Able to manage own time effectively.
• Ability to take instruction and direction and complete tasks to the highest standard.
• Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable

The employee will be expected to:

• Attend training as required.
• Be available to work day/evening shifts
• Keep accurate records in relation to all aspects of work and prepare reports as required.
• To undertake other duties as requested by management.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
