Car Valeter/Driver, HERTZ, Cork, €13 ph

Hertz Rent a Car, the largest rental company in the world are currently recruiting Valetors / Drivers for our Cork Airport office.

Positions are full time permanent and offer the opportunity to earn extra during your standard working shift.

A full drivers licence and good English are essential for this role.

Primary duties and responsibilities will include:

• Preparing vehicles as per company standards.
• Assisting customer at time of collection and time of return.
• Ensure the interior/exterior of the vehicle is clean (windows cleaned, floor and trunk vacuumed)
• Refueling vehicles and checking all other lights and levels.
• Ensuring tyres are checked for wear and are properly inflated.
• Digitally recording the vehicle condition pre and post rental.
• Delivery and collection of vehicles to and from hotels other locations etc.
• Perform related tasks/duties as directed by supervisors and managers.

The Ideal candidate will:

• Enjoy working in a busy outdoor environment.
• Be trustworthy, conscientious and possess a strong eye for detail.
• Have the ability to work unsupervised.
• This role does involve some interaction with clients so a friendly and helpful attitude is essential.
• The ability to correctly complete pre and post rental checklists.
• A full driver’s licence is essential.

Positions are shift work which includes evening and weekend shifts in accordance with location opening hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: €13.00 per hour
