Café Supervisor, BiteSize, Cork

We’re looking for a Supervisor to oversee the smooth running of our Ballincollig cafe. This role is available full or part time, predominantly a Monday to Friday ONLY role. If you’re the kind of person who thrives on customer service and enjoys working as part of a busy and upbeat team then we’d love to hear from you! And we really love when you include a cover note telling us why you are the best person for the job!!

Role Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years experience in a similar role, hospitality or retail
• Take responsibility for front of house in the café and deliver excellent customer service at all times
• Oversee the day to day performance of your team
• Ensure the café is well presented and strict quality, hygiene and safety standards are adhered to
• Assist in the preparation of food and beverage orders
• Adhere to cash and monetary handling procedures
• Demonstrate product knowledge when answering customer queries regarding coffee blends, preparation and product freshness
• Follow company policies and protocols in all areas of café operations
• Report to Senior Management on an ongoing basis

• A team player who enjoys interacting with people and can ‘go the extra mile’
• Professional, reliable and friendly with high standards of personal hygiene and appearance
• The ability to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion
• Must have good verbal and written English communication skills
