Bank teller – full-time, permanent position with capability to commute between 5 different Cork Branches.

Objectives of this Role

• Serve customers by managing documents, information, and financial transactions successfully and in an organized, efficient, and secure manner
• Build awareness of new products and services, and identify customer needs to capitalize on the business referral opportunities
• Meet and exceed bank service standards, greeting and acknowledging each customer warmly, and making them feel welcome while complying with bank procedures and security protocols
• Work as a team with other tellers to complete daily tasks, demonstrating respect and professionalism

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

• Handle account transactions for customers, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and opening and closing accounts
• Identify customer needs, provide information on new products and services, and direct customers to branch representatives if interested
• Compliant cash management and daily balancing
• Track, record, report, and store transactional information and special requests
• Provide a high level of customer service, providing answers and assistance

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum Requirement of recognised qualification to allow the role holder to discuss product information with customers i.e. QFA, or APA in Loans and / or Savings and Investments is preferred however not essential.
• Basic maths and computer skills
• Cash-handling experience
• Full drivers licence
• Excellent communication, customer service, and time-management skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: €25,000.00-€27,500.00 per year
